Role Overview

We are looking for a TestOps / Automation Lead to drive automation excellence and lead high-impact testing initiatives. This is a customer-facing role, requiring strong ownership, technical depth, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment.

You will lead automation strategy, mentor teams, and leverage AI-driven approaches to elevate testing efficiency and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Execution

  • Design and implement scalable automation frameworks and test strategies
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts
  • Ensure high-quality test execution aligned with SLAs

Leadership & Ownership

  • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers
  • Drive accountability, performance, and continuous improvement
  • Own end-to-end testing deliverables in a customer-facing setup

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with customers and cross-functional teams
  • Communicate test progress, risks, and insights effectively
  • Present reports with actionable recommendations

AI-Driven Testing

  • Leverage AI tools and intelligent automation to optimize testing
  • Continuously improve productivity, coverage, and defect detection

Core Skills (Must-Have)

  • Strong Automation Testing experience (Selenium with Java)
  • Solid foundation in Manual Testing & test case design
  • Excellent English communication skills (critical for customer interaction)
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools / AI-assisted workflows in testing
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and adaptability skills

Technical Requirements

  • 4+ years in automation testing, with 2+ years in a lead role
  • Experience with Selenium, Java, API testing (Postman/Swagger)
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies & best practices
  • Ability to quickly understand new domains/products

Work Setup & Expectations

  • Fully remote role (India-based)
  • Must have a reliable work setup (system, internet, webcam, power backup)
  • Willingness to work in a startup environment with high ownership
  • Availability for EST overlap until 1:00 PM EST
